Located at the base of the Pier in Malibu, California, Malibu Farms has the most pier delicious grilled chocolate cake I’ve ever had.

Have you not had the opportunity to try a grilled chocolate cake? Well, first the chocolate cake is baked as a chocolate cake is and then it is covered with powdered sugar on top then they flame grill the top to caramelize the sugar and make the top crispy. Confident this was the best chocolate cake I’ve had in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Clearly it was Terrible! Ha!

Served warm as expected with a cool scoop of vanilla ice cream, this little gem is a perfect addition to an afternoon spent on the Pacific Coast.
